At the moment in Chelyabinsk are working 9 Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. There are painters Bolotskih Ivan, Mishin Vladimir , Seliverstov Serge,y Soloviev Vasiliy, Surin Dmitri; a wonderful graphics Tretyakov Nikolay ; master of arts – arts and crafts Egakov Yuri, Kudryavtseva Lyudmila; famous sculptor Mitroshin . Among them – the great landscape painters, praising the beauty of the Urals and other parts of Russia, the creators of monumental works that adorn our city, authors of deeply philosophical paintings, famous far beyond the region, talented teachers, educators of the young generation of artists. Honorary titles, really is deserved by long years of work and a great contribution to the culture of our native country.
High title – People's Artist of Russia – have two our countryman. Name of sculptor Vardkes Avakian and his works are known to most of Chelyabinsk citizens. The creativity of the artist gave our city a monument to Academician I. Kurchatov on the main avenue , the sculpture "Medic" and "Student", monuments to Prokofiev and F. Glinka and many others.
